Head Coach

We are seeking coaches in the NYC area who understand and meet our mission and core values, are great with children, and have an understanding of Early Childhood Development. 

  • USSF License required

We require our Coaches to…

  1. Always be Prepared: develop age-appropriate and engaging soccer lesson plans for 3 to 6 age groups a day. Approximately 10 players per class, ages ranging from 2 to 11 years of age.

     

  2. Lead by Example: be a reliable, excellent communicator, consistent, and punctual. Soccer Kids NYC provides events for our families, and our coaches are expected to attend at the families’ request. Children love to hang out with their favorite Coach.

     

  3. Love Teaching and Love the Sport: Present a genuine, high level of energy and enthusiasm. Soccer Coaches play a key and fundamental role in the life of a child. We expect our coaches to provide an amazing and unparallel soccer learning experience to all children.

Our Coaches are highly trained and experienced in working with children of all ages and skill levels. They understand the unique challenges of teaching soccer to young children and have a passion for helping them develop their skills and reach their full potential. Through our Instructional Classes, children will not only develop their soccer skills but will also learn important life skills such as teamwork, communication, and perseverance.

 

Upon Accepting the Offer: All coaches must undergo Soccer Kids NYC’s Training Program and background check. 

Assistant Coach

We are seeking coaches in the NYC area who understand and meet our Mission and Core Values, are great with children, and have an understanding of Early Childhood Development. 

 

We require our Coaches to:

  1. Always be Prepared: Plan for your full day of approximately 10 players per 3 to 6 classes a day. Age groups range from 2 to 12 years of age.

     

  2. Lead by Example: Be a reliable, excellent communicator, consistent, and punctual. Soccer Kids NYC provides events for our families, and our coaches are expected to attend at the families’ request. Children love to hang out with their favorite Coach.

  3. Love Teaching and Love the Sport: Present genuine and high level of energy and enthusiasm. Soccer Coaches play a key and fundamental role in the life of a child! We expect our coaches to provide an amazing and unparalleled soccer learning experience to all children.

     

  4. Obtain a USSF License: Soccer Kids NYC is an award-winning educational soccer program that focuses on the fundamentals of the sport by introducing children to soccer in a fun and engaging style where they are provided with opportunities to succeed, to be challenged, to learn values that are vital across settings at every step of the way. Soccer Kids NYC provides our coaches with onboard training and professional development. All the coaches at Soccer Kids NYC are licensed by the United States Soccer Federation (USSF) and the National Soccer Coaching Association of America (NSCAA). All training, workshops, licenses, and other credentials are reimbursed by Soccer Kids NYC

All coaches start as Assistant coaches. Coaches who attend training and are punctual, organized, and display high energy and enthusiasm in every class, have opportunities to move up the various coaching levels at Soccer Kids NYC.

Marketing Intern

We are looking for interns in the NYC area who understand and meet our Mission and Core Values.

  • Great opportunity to apply your own knowledge and build additional relevant skills.

Intern Qualifications:

    • Access to a digital camera.
    • Knowledge of media and communication.
    • Ability to multitask and prioritize.
    • Should have experience in photography and video editing.

**Photoshop, Illustrator or other design program skills are a plus but not required.**

Hours will vary based on needs and students’ schedules.

 

Compensation for completion of this internship will be in the form of academic credit. Intern will not receive benefits.
